    Yogblast PC

I have searched around and cannot find the answer to this question. Please link a page if this question has been answered.

Note: I know nothing about PC specs.

Can the Yogsblast Fusion Blast run Battlefield 3?

If it can (and I think it can) what would...

    The FPS be?
Max graphics? (Low, Medium, High, Ultra)

    Thanks.

If we are talking about the fusion lite (the 699.98 model) then it can play BF3 on max settings at up to full hd, but at the minimum acceptable fps of ~30 fps and will probably/definitely drop below this in large servers or big fire-fights. Also it will only do this with FXAA (fast approximate anti-aliasing), and will not cope with any level of MSAA (multi-sample anti-aliasing), not that this should matter as FXAA gives about 95% of the image quality of MSAA for about 10% or less of the fps drop, so really MSAA is kinda pointless these days.

So if you are wanting to play battlefield 3, I would certainly not recommend the Yogsblast lite. Although I would probably never recommend it in general as, even compared to chillblast's other offerings, it is quite overpriced. I would recommend this model instead: http://www.chillblast.com/Chillblast...Hurricane.html

That model is 29.02 more expensive, but has a ~40% faster cpu and a ~100% faster graphics card (over 100% in BF3), and it still comes with windows. It will manage ~72 fps in bf3 at full settings and full hd with FXAA and ~48 fps with MSAA. Also note that 60 fps is the maximum a normal computer monitor can display, so anything above 60 fps is quite literally unnoticeable as it will not be displayed, therefore this pc should provide more than the power you need

I hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.

EDIT: Some examples of what the gpu in each system can do (note anything below 30 fps is not acceptable, and anything above 60 fps won't be displayed and is just a sign of future-proofing): http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/541?vs=660

    Thank you for your reply.

So are you saying that the PC can run Battlefield 3 at:

    1080x720 (Full size of monitor)
    Ultra Settings
At 70 FPS? or 48 FPS?

And by the way, I would need it for recording to. How much would that decrease the FPS?

    Thanks.

Check out this video. Read the description..

I can't give you an exact figure, but since the cpu is very powerful and it has ample ram etc. I would hope the drop in fps for recording with be less than 10.

And it will do 70 fps at full settings at 1920x1080, with FXAA. So at 1280x720 it'll be over 100 easily.

How come the guy in the video got about 20 - 30 FPS and the PC's have the same specs? I'm wondering.

He is using integrated graphics, ie really really terrible graphics. The gtx 660 which comes with the chillblast pc is over 20 times more powerful.
