Is your friend the only one that logs into your server?

    Dude, stop bumping -.-

No one is obliged to help you you know, and hell, there is probably no known solution anyway (Its minecraft!). Try telling your friend to host instead.

Are you sure you're using an open port?

Have you tried posting on Minecraftforum.net?
They will have much more specialists on the subject.

Firstly it should be in minecraft help so I've moved it for you. Secondly do not double post,it is extremely annoying and not necessary. It makes more work for us having to merge things.

For your friend to connect you need to forward your ports. If you can't do that both download hamachi and set up a network containing you and your friend. All your friend then needs to do is put the ip that's next to your name in hamachi into the multiplayer part of his/her game and you should be able to connect. There's a stickie on where to download hamachi in the community minecraft servers.

I have a couple of questions.

    Are you using Hamachi?
What is the IP of your server (dont worry you can PM me and I won't go on it)
Is your freind on a different Wifi network to you or is he using the same one?
